I just got done reading Linger... It takes a turn in the book I wasn't expecting, a couple of them. Sams human now, no long changing to a wolf. Grace - comes to a head with her parents, her love with Sam grows - her body starts changing and in the end something major occurs. Kind of odd how she 'knows' whats happening to her body even though she doesn't want to admit it, and its not what your thinking! There's more wolves, Cole and Victor are two of them - both tormented, Cole more so - you learn about his lives and why he CHOSE to be a wolf. The book ends on a cliffhanger - now I'm dying for the next book... sometimes I like cliffhangers, sometimes I like a smooth endings. Fantastically written!
In Maggie Stiefvater’s Shiver, Grace and Sam found each other. Now, in Linger, they must fight to be together. For Grace, this means defying her parents and keeping a very dangerous secret about her own well-being. For Sam, this means grappling with his werewolf past…and figuring out a way to survive into the future. Add into the mix a new wolf named Cole, whose own past has the potential to destroy the whole pack. And Isabel, who already lost her brother to the wolves…and is nonetheless drawn to Cole. At turns harrowing and euphoric, Linger is a spellbinding love story that explores both sides of love–the light and the dark, the warm and the cold–in a way you will never forget.

Hexbug Nano LIVE
Here's a professional video before you see ours lol
The kids had a ball setting this up - they used everything possible (they followed the largest design on the box) and then did whatever when adding the bridge extension. 4 nanos and ohhh boy did they rock n roll
I do not see any issues than loosing track of them in the house LOL
Easy set up - so easy to snap together and they really really held together - I was able to pick it up and place it on the table with no issues of it falling apart.
The walls are high enough that the nanos can't get out - we placed the bridge over the two big octagons so if they fell off they fell into the design below (great thinking Moms!!)
LOVE the off switch on the bottom!!
My camera died but I'm hoping we can get a picture up with the kids :)
I give this 2 thumbs up - I know alot of moms don't like the thought of 'bugs' but even the shy ones got a kick out of the little buggers :)

What fall traditions do you have?
Last night I spent time with Amber and her friend (they had a sleepover last night lol) going through her closet cleaning and packing... remembering when she drew this artwork or she made this vase... getting all homesick for NY and starting the fall blues (the 52 degree weather isn't helping either!) and I realized its Apple Pickin time back home. Indian Ladder Farms starts this month, their cider starts on the 16th and ohhh I used to love going with my family - load up the wagon and pick all day, watch the cider donuts be made in the window and then shop in the store for the fresh donuts and cider. Of course my cousin puts on facebook this morning he's craving a cider donut lol... great minds think alike!
Then my mind starts flowing... with the move I still want to have our traditions even though the house is full of boxes. Apple Pickin, make an apple pie (I have yet to do this with Amber - my mom does it all the time), Pumpkin Pickin, Carving Pumpkins, decorating the house for the holidays, making chili and invite neighbors over to watch football on TV (ok Mike makes the chili not me lol), Make cookies, watch Disney Hauntober Fest (I print out the schedule for Amber)...
What traditions do you have? What special things do you like to do in September and October?? I'd love to do more, create more memories...
Post your response below and I'll pick someone to win a special holiday treat!!

- Put these industrious critters to the test by creating a customizable playground for the industrious critters to traverse through! 1 HEXBUG Nano Bridge Battle Habitat Set in retail package- Kids can create the ultimate battleground for the HEXBUG Nano with the Bridge Battle Habitat Set that comes with 29 easy connect pieces and two rare HEXBUG Nanos. What’s really cool about this maze is that kids get to battle their Nanos using this elevated multi-level platform!

- Lots of pieces to build your own habitat!
They do require 1 AG13 button cell battery (sold in twin pack for $4.99) - Nice that its inexpensive and EASY to change out.
There are no sensors, chips or anything to go wrong on these suckers... just little rubber legs that don't move... they are the simplest of things (of course that's what kids love!)
There's an OFF and ON switch - YES!!! Moms you can turn them off and put them away :)
The Nano behaves like a real bug once you flip on the switch. Tiny vibrations send the Nano scampering over various surfaces. It even flips over by itself. It uses the physics of vibration to navigate different items in its path (avoiding items, flipping over, etc)
The Bridge Battle Habitat Set which comes out October 15th and retails for $39.99 - its the BEST VALUE!! I'm saying this cause it comes with all the things you need to have a home for the Nano's and comes with 2 Nano's lol.
The Habitat set which is already out and a step down from the bridge set retails for $29.99 and is a great set! Comes with two Nano's too!
The best part I like with the Nano is that its educational and ONLINE as well... so it doubles your money as a in person toy and an online toy. - Hexbug Nano fanatics interested in the lore of science and discovery can visit www.handandstars.com to earn points by answering science quiz questions, register their collection using the unique serial numbers included inside each test tube style package, and achieve global status and prestige in an online game that requires players to use scientific principles to build their own virtual Nano. Go to www.handandstars.com with the instructions sheet inside your Nano's case - it has a Unique Code - you can even register your Nano's and show off your collection.
When I have the party this weekend I'll post more info on how well we liked them and how long they lasted!! Keep your eyes peeled :)
Note: Thanks to MomSelect for sending this to me for free and allowing me to review them.
