Just got done reading the 4th book in the series - I've cried, road a roller-coaster of emotion and now in book 4 stand in shock. At first I was bord for the first couple chapters. Then, then I understood what she had to go through to find Dimitri and I wondered if it was reversed if I would be able to do the same. you walked in her shoes telling the family and morning him, still unsure of what she was doing. The end was astonishing- her love for Dimitri and her struggle with him, undead. It really tore my heart out. I do have to thank the author for not dragging out the 'father issue' to the 5th book and finally revealing it all in the last few pages of the book - making it all, make sense.
Now to see what waits for me in book 5! Book 6 doesn't come out to Dec 7th 2010, called Last Sacrifice.
Author Notes:
How far will Rose go to keep her promise? The recent Strigoi attack at St. Vladimir's Academy was the deadliest ever in the school's history, claiming the lives of Moroi students, teachers, and guardians alike. Even worse, the Strigoi took some of their victims with them... including Dimitri. He'd rather die than be one of them, and now Rose must abandon her best friend, Lissa – the one she has sworn to protect no matter what – and keep the promise Dimitri begged her to make long ago. But with everything at stake, how can she possibly destroy the person she loves most?
