Poison Apple - This Totally Bites

Scholastic came out with another good preteen book for their new Poison Apple series. This Totally Bites is about a young girl who finds out her family is from transylvania due to a school report on family history. Her Aunt comes to visit and she starts to think she's a vampire... alot of bats in the book but its cute and really great for preteens. Thumbs up!

Twelve-year-old Emma-Rose Paley has always felt different from her bubbly, outgoing parents. Unlike them, Emma-Rose has pale skin and jet-black hair, is quiet and moody, and prefers gray weather to sunshine. She also hates the taste of garlic, has very sharp incisors, and loves rare burgers.
